I’m the girl behind Hurst Photo. I never could’ve imagined that taking a cheap camera on a hike one day in 2016 would completely change the trajectory of my hobbies and career. Eight years later, and I still feel like I’m living a dream.
What started as a simple way to capture moments with friends and family quickly grew into a passion for storytelling through photography. Now, I get to spend my days documenting love stories, capturing the little details that pass us by in moments but mean everything when we look back on them.
My love for the outdoors and documenting my own adventures naturally evolved into a deep appreciation for the unscripted, genuine moments in life. This is what inspired my documentary-style approach to wedding photography. To me, a wedding isn’t just a series of posed shots but a beautiful collection of real moments—the laughter, the tears, the quiet glances, and everything in between. My goal is to tell your story as it unfolds, preserving the raw emotions and tiny details that make your day uniquely yours.
Every experience I’ve had, from those early hikes in Arizona to exploring new places with Kyle and our pups, has shaped how I see the world and how I capture it. I’ve learned to look for the beauty in the in-between moments, the ones that often go unnoticed but hold the most meaning when we look back on them.
I’m beyond grateful for every couple, every adventure, and every story I’ve had the privilege to photograph. From exploring the Texas hills to capturing those hidden gems across the world, I’m reminded every day how special this journey is. And honestly? It’s all thanks to that one hike, that one cheap camera, and a heart full of curiosity.

I believe in documenting the small moments, not just the grand ones. Some of my favorite images on a wedding day are the moments that pass us by in seconds. The way your partner looks at you with loving eyes as you walk down the aisle, getting ready with your best gals, the hug that grandma sneaks in after you put on your wedding dress, the tear that
falls down your cheek as you’re reading your vows during your first look, and dancing until your feet hurt…. those are the moments I want to document for you. The moments you may not realize are going to be so special to look back on after your wedding day is over. The grand moments are great, but so are the small moments.
I'm here to capture the unique story of your big day...
